The bigger battery definitely makes a difference in how far you can go. Not only is it bigger, but Hyundai seems to have made it more efficient too.
And with the heat pump, you should get way better range in the winter.
From what I've seen online, the newer models (2020 and up) probably act pretty much the same way with the defogger and recirculation. Hyundai might have tweaked it a little, but it's probably not a huge difference.

I've noticed it too. It seems worse on hot days when the sun is blasting the windshield. I always use Auto climate control, so maybe it's something to do with it switching between hot and cold.
But so far, it hasn't caused any problems. No weird noises or anything, so I'm not too worried about...
If your battery's between 40% and 60% and hasn't gone above 60% in a while, the car might not be using as much regenerative braking. That's because it works best when the battery has more room to store energy.
