I recently bought an Ioniq Plug-in Hybrid and had trouble charging it. I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working, but it turned out to be a simple fix. The key fob battery was weak, so the car wasn't locking properly. Replacing the battery fixed the issue.

It’s always the little things like a weak key fob battery that can cause confusion. crazy!!!

Did replacing the key fob battery resolve the charging issue completely, or have you noticed any other quirks?

This is pretty new to me. I didn't know the car must be locked so it can charge. 😅

Thanks for this! Did you buy the battery from the dealership?
