Key fob can't open the door

I had a strange problem with my Ioniq. The key fob stopped working, even after I replaced the battery. I managed to get into the car using the key and restart it with a workaround. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

A friend of mine had the same issue with his Ioniq. He replaced the battery, but the key fob still didn’t work. He had to use the physical key and found a way to restart the car.

Do you have a spare key fob? In the owner's manual, you can find the mechanical key opening procedure. Try that!
