Ioniq Plug-in Hybrid not charging issue solved

I recently bought an Ioniq Plug-in Hybrid and had trouble charging it. I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working, but it turned out to be a simple fix. The key fob battery was weak, so the car wasn't locking properly. Replacing the battery fixed the issue.

This is pretty new to me. I didn't know the car must be locked so it can charge.

This happened to mine as well. Because of weak key fob battery the doors weren't locked properly which prevented the car from charging

That makes sense! The weak fob battery can mess with the car's systems in unexpected ways. It’s crazy how something so small can cause bigger issues like that. Glad you figured it out
