I'm trying to find the 12v Power Source for an Anti-Theft Project!

Looking for some tech creatives. I'm building an anti-theft device and want to avoid the whole "hidden button" thing. Ideally, I'd tap into a 12v source under the hood that only activates with a vehicle function, like window controls or mirror adjustments. Anyone know of a good fuse candidate for this sneaky power supply?

I would avoid messing with the electronics if I were you. How about buying a steering wheel lock instead? Much cheaper and less complicated.

Agree with this. Or how about a wheel clamp lock?
