Ioniq SEL's Red Blinking Light

So I’ve got this red blinking light on my 2020 Ioniq SEL. It’s chillin' in the front center of the dash, behind the windshield. The manual is totally MIA on this one. Anyone got a clue what this thing means?

Oh, that’s just letting you know the car’s locked and the security stuff is all set. No biggie - nothing to worry about!

It's your security light, and it indicates that the vehicle is armed. If you have automatic lights, it's your light sensor.

Yeah, that red blinking light is a security indicator. It’s normal for Ioniq models to have this feature.

That little red blinker is just your car’s way of flexing its security system, basically saying, 'I’m locked and loaded!' It’s the immobilizer light, and it flashes when the car’s off to let people know the security’s active.
