I’m eyeing an Ioniq Electric and curious about the mileage folks are getting per kWh. Any of you rocking one? What’s your mileage like? And are you mainly city-slicking or taking it on road trips? Lay it on me!
Mine’s at 3.5 m/kWh and I’ve clocked about 10k miles on it. This SEL RWD model has been mostly highway cruising, with the AC blasting almost the whole time.
In my SEL AWD, I get 3.5 mi/kWh on city streets, but my range drops to 3 mi/kWh on the highway at 75 mph. I keep the climate control turned on at all times.
Mine's an Ioniq 6 SEL RWD - 3.2 over 5K miles. My daily commute involves driving on SoCal freeways, where average speeds are between 75 and 80 mph. I'm fortunate to have free charging at work and excess solar energy production. This means I don't have to worry about maximizing efficiency while driving.
