Ioniq air vents opening/closing nonstop

My air vents (those flaps under the front license plate) are going wild! Whenever I turn on the AC and set it near outside temp, they just keep opening and closing every 5 seconds or so. Is this normal behavior? Seems like a recipe for burnt-out vent motors to me! Did anyone encounter this and did you find a fix?

It could be related to the difference between the inside and outside temps. That might be causing your vents to act strangely. Have you noticed a pattern, like the vents only acting up when the inside is much colder or hotter than outside?

Completely normal. The car could be keeping the battery at the proper temperature or turning on the dehumidifier.
