Hyundai’s giving me an absolute nightmare with my Ioniq. Dead 12V battery was just the beginning. Now my brakes totally failed – pedal to the floor! Somehow managed to get home, but then the car died completely. Took it to the dealer, and of course, their computer shows no errors, even though I’ve got proof of the battery issues.

Hyundai’s dragging this out, won’t own up to the problem, and I caught them straight-up lying. Anyone else had this level of Hyundai horror? I'm so over it.

That’s tough! I’m no expert, but it’s hard to buy that there were no codes, pretty easy to clear them and make things look all clean. My guess? They don’t have a fix yet, so they’re just pretending it’s not a problem. I’d grab an EV code reader, plug it in next time, and record everything on video. And maybe throw in a video of the incident for good measure!

It’s tough when dealers don’t take the issue seriously, document everything and escalate to Hyundai’s customer service or even a third-party mechanic for a second opinion.

Yeah, I’m definitely documenting everything. I’m just fed up with their lack of accountability. The fact that they keep brushing it off like nothing’s wrong is insane. I’m thinking about going to a third-party shop for a real diagnostic and see if they can dig into it. Just don’t want to risk making things worse, y'know? But I'm at my wit's end with Hyundai.
