2023 I5 slowdown

My dad had a creepy experience the other night with his I5. The car wouldn't open with the key fob, then it lost power on his way home - stuck at 20mph uphill with no warning lights. He said he tried switching drive modes but nothing worked. and then this morning, everything seemed okay when I helped him on his test drive just to make sure, but it felt stuck in ECO mode. Pushing the mode button cycled back to "normal" weirdly, then suddenly all modes worked like normal. So a reboot fixed it? Anyone else experience this?

Did you have cruise control on? If you were using it, was it set to the speed limit?

Same thing that happened to me while I'm in the middle of the road. What I did was I pulled over, turned my Ioniq off, waited for 3 mins, and turned it back on again. The car was back to normal.
