My 2019 EV Ioniq has a lower range than expected. I've tried everything I can think of to fix it, but it still doesn't work. Should I take it back to the dealer? Or is it time for a new battery?

How old is your car? If it is not too old, then there must be a bigger issue with the batter, more than deterioration.

You should definitely get the battery checked out. There might be something else wrong with it besides just old age.

Do you live somewhere really hot? Hot weather can really hurt the battery.

Did you get it brand new? If not, it's possible the previous owner regularly charged it to 100% and let it sit for long periods, which can speed up the aging of lithium-ion batteries. It might be worth getting it diagnosed before considering a replacement
