Hey guys, so I’ve got this OBD scanner, and no matter what I do, it just won’t connect to my car. I’ve tried everything, but it refuses to read any codes. Any ideas? I’m starting to think I might’ve got a dud.
@kibby82 You'll have to check with the supplier, because there are tons of different devices out there for different cars. You need one that's made specifically for your car.
Double-check the OBD port for any obstructions or corrosion, also make sure your car is in the right mode for diagnostics. If that fails, you might have a faulty scanner.

I double-checked the model compatibility, and it's supposed to work with my car. I’m not exactly a pro at this stuff, so I’m kinda scratching my head here.
