Strange noises have been coming from my front windshield, both when I'm driving and when the car is stationary. It sounds like something may be loose. I haven't found any broken rubber seals, though. Has anyone else gone through this?

Windshield noise usually indicates a problem with the windshield seal. Maybe it's not properly attached to the car frame. I noticed this before and it's causing rattling sounds or whistling noises especially at high speeds.

Check all of the plastic underbody covers to see if any have come loose.

There was a time I kept hearing a strange noise near the front windshield on my 2017 Ioniq, especially when driving at higher speeds. I couldn’t find any visible damage to the seals either, but it turned out to be a loose panel near the windshield. You know, just a car having a little "squeaky" meltdown!

My advice: Check the panels or any trim around the windshield for loose fittings as others have suggested. You could also check if the windshield wipers or seals are misaligned.

Something is loosened out there, without any doubt.

That's a great tip, thanks for sharing your experience.
