Has anyone else had trouble with the latest infotainment update? I have a 2020 Hyundai Ioniq, and since installing it, my GPS is completely wonky. It's showing me about 5 miles away from where I actually am! And, in a moment of sheer panic (and stupidity), I tried a factory reset through the developer menu. Now the car's navigation system is completely lost it can't find any satellites at all. The dealership has been totally unhelpful; they just keep telling me to wait for a "software fix." Anyone else encountered this? Any suggestions for getting the GPS working again?

Sounds like the latest Hyundai update broke GPS functionality for some models. If the dealer is just telling you to "wait for a fix," that’s not exactly helpful.

You might have better luck trying a system reboot, forcing a GPS Reset by driving around for a while, or maybe checking if the system update process got corrupted and took the maps database with it. If you're hesitant, just get a dealer try to reinstall the maps manually. If Hyundai doesn’t push a fix soon, they should at least be offering a rollback option for affected vehicles.

Yikes, that’s frustrating, have you tried updating the navigation system manually through the car’s settings or using a USB drive? A fresh map update can help. Otherwise, it might be worth contacting a third-party specialist who might have more troubleshooting tips.

A malfunctioning GPS is a serious safety hazard. It's not just about convenience; it's about being able to navigate safely. I hope Hyundai addresses this urgently.
