Ioniq 5 cargo cover not retracting – Need help with mechanism

I just noticed that the cargo cover in my Ioniq 5 won’t retract. Does anyone know how to open the mechanism or fix this isssue? Any tips or instructions would be greatly appreciated!

Before you try anything too drastic, is your Ioniq 5 still under warranty? It might be worth checking if this is something they'd cover

Try gently tapping the cover while pulling to see if it frees up. Some have fixed it by resetting the tension.

It might be jammed or the spring mechanism could be stuck.
