Don't short your car! Safer security options

Tinkering with the charging port to disable the car sounds risky! Anyone know of good aftermarket security systems for an Ioniq 1? Looking for ideas to keep my ride safe without messing with the electronics.

You can pull the lever near the fuse box to shut off the high voltage battery, but this isn't recommended. Installing a kill witch would help.

Kill switch is the safest way.

Had a similar concern with my 2020 Ioniq Hybrid and went for a Viper security system. The installer was careful not to touch the charging system, and it integrates well without triggering false alarms.
