Hi!
Let me share with you the story of my AC
First, it stopped working (out of nowhere).
I took it to a dealership
They told me I had to replace the defog sensor (the AC doesn't work without it)
Second, I don't care about the auto-defog feature. So, is auto defog necessary for AC to work? I don't want to replace it (too expensive). Thanks in advance!

My AC once stopped working suddenly too, and I found out it was a sensor that needed replacing, which was quite expensive. As for the auto-defog feature, it seems that some systems require that sensor for the AC to operate properly, while others might not.

I agree, it makes sense that a sensor could cause those issues. Thanks for sharing your experience, it’s helpful to know that it could be something less drastic than a full system replacement.

Expensive? You can find it on AliExpress for less than $50. Just search it by the part number.
